The deal, in plain sentences
You buy the locks and keep them. You pay month to month for the connection. We run the leasing loop. Everything below is the detail behind those three sentences.

Who these terms bind
Reading this site binds you to the parts about the site. Using the service binds you to all of it. If you sign a separate customer agreement with us, that agreement wins wherever the two disagree.
If you accept these terms for a company, you are stating that you may bind that company.

What the service does
MyRemotely lists a vacant unit, answers the inquiries it draws, books a self-guided tour, verifies the visitor with a government ID and a selfie, writes a time-boxed code to every lock on the unit, removes the code when the window closes, and keeps a timestamped record of all of it. Remo is the agent that runs the conversation, and it hands a thread to your team when a question needs a person.
We add and change features. We will not quietly remove one you depend on without telling you.
- 03
Your account and your team
Keep your credentials to yourself and keep your user list current. Anything done with your account is treated as done by you, so remove a leaver the day they leave. Tell us at once if you think an account has been taken.
The access log is scoped to your organisation. Who inside your organisation can read it is your decision to configure and yours to police.
- 04
Hardware you buy and own
You buy the smart locks and lockboxes once, at the price published on the pricing page, and they are yours. There is no per-door rental. We support TTLock and Sifely hardware plus lockboxes today.
If you stop using the service, the locks keep working and stay yours. You lose the automation, not the hardware. Warranty and returns on a device follow the terms of whoever sold it to you.
- 05
Billing
The cellular subscription is the recurring line. It is charged per device per month, and the rate falls as the device count rises. You can pay yearly instead and one month comes off. Current rates are on the pricing page, and they are the only ones that count.
- Month to month. There is no annual contract.
- Fourteen-day trial. We do not ask for a card to start it.
- No setup fee. You pay for the hardware and the subscription, and nothing else.
- Card, debit card or ACH bank transfer.
- Change plan whenever you like. The change takes effect at once, up or down.
We may change prices. A change applies from your next billing period, never backwards, and we will tell you before it lands.
- 06
Ending it
Cancel at any time. The subscription stops at the end of the period you have paid for. Your locks continue to work as ordinary smart locks. Ask us before you go if you want a copy of your access log, and we will get it to you.
Refund terms are not fixed on this page; they are in your customer agreement. If you do not have one, write to us and we will put the position in writing before you buy.
We can suspend an account that is not paid or that breaks the section below. Except in an emergency, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Acceptable use
Do not:
- use the service on a unit you do not own or manage
- submit an identity document that is not yours, or ask somebody else to submit one for you
- pass a tour code to a person who was not verified for that tour
- use the access log to watch a person rather than to account for an entry
- attack, probe or overload the service, or try to reach another customer's data
- scrape the site, resell the service, or take the software apart, except where the law says you may
Leasing law is yours to follow. Fair housing rules, tenant screening rules and the landlord-tenant law of your state apply to your decisions, and the product does not make those decisions for you. Identity verification confirms that a visitor is who they say they are. It is not a background check, a credit check or a tenant screening, and it must not be used as one.
- 08
What we are not
We are not a real estate broker, a property manager or a leasing agent. We are not a tenant screening service. We are not a security company or a monitoring service, and nobody is watching your unit.
Cameras at the unit, motion sensing for vacant units and emergency dispatch are in development and are not part of the service today. Do not buy on the strength of them and do not plan around them.
Physical security of the property stays with you. So does the decision about which units are safe to show unaccompanied.
- 09
Availability
Locks are physical devices on a cellular connection, and a physical device can fail, run flat or drop off the network. The product loads daily fallback codes so a tour can still run when a lock is unreachable, and it reconciles the codes when the lock returns.
These terms promise no uptime figure. We would rather state nothing than state a number we do not measure. Any service level commitment lives in your customer agreement.
- 10
Disclaimers
So far as the law allows, the service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, that every lock will answer, or that it fits a purpose you have in mind but have not described to us.
Content on this site is for information. Where a figure on this site is an estimate or an illustration, it says so on the page, and an estimate is not a promise.
- 11
Limitation of liability
So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for lost rent. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not permit us to limit.
The money cap on our liability is not set on this page. It is set in your customer agreement. If you are evaluating us and want to know the figure before you sign, ask and we will tell you.
- 12
Governing law
The law that governs these terms, and the courts a dispute goes to, are set in your customer agreement rather than on this page. If you are evaluating us and want to read that clause before you sign, ask and we will send it.
We would rather answer you than argue with you. Write to us first, at the address below, and we will try to settle it directly.
- 13
Changes, and how to reach us
When these terms change, the new version replaces this one here and the date at the top changes with it. A material change is announced to customers, not left to be discovered.
